Hans Rosenberg was made in Canada, born in Denmark and raised in Greenland where he began to study the art of drumming at the age of seven. His professional carreer took off at the tender age of twelve and he started doing recording sessions on a regular basis since the age of fifteen. He is the prototype of the modern drummer, and he's got all the attributes that contemporary music calls for: A solid groove, blazing chops, a vast knowledge of different styles and the ability of playing them with confidence and bringing them to life.

Whether it's a live gig, a studio session or a workshop situation, Hans is known for his professional attitude and his positive and enthusiastic approach. His positive and joyful personality emerges from his drumming and adds that magic touch to whatever musical situation he finds himself in. Hans Rosenbergs debut cd was released in 1999. It received seven out of ten stars in a Modern Drummer review. Even though Hans Rosenberg is maybe mostly known for working in the confines of more popular styles of rock, blues, funk, world, country and pop situatons, the fact of the matter is that he has been all over the place, playing everything from big bands to progressive heavy metal and fusion bands.

Hans Rosenberg is seasoned pro with world tour experience. He has developed a reputation as a top pro drummer with amazing skills. His performances are vibrant and visual and his track record as a session player is remarkable: He has performed on 143 albums (to be exact) and on numerous jingles, soundtracks and TV specials.
Hans Rosenberg is available for live and studio work.
